Goings Orthodontics is led by Dr. Bradley Goings, a highly experienced orthodontist and Diamond Invisalign® Provider. Our team uses the latest technology to deliver precise results, whether you’re considering Invisalign clear aligners or braces.
With convenient offices in both Fort Collins and Windsor, you’ll always have easy access to expert orthodontic care close to home.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children visit an orthodontist by age seven. This doesn’t necessarily mean treatment will start right away. At Goings Orthodontics, Dr. Goings evaluates growth and development early, allowing us to detect potential problems before they become serious.
If early treatment (Phase I) is needed, we can guide jaw growth and create space for permanent teeth—helping reduce the need for more complex treatment later.
Every smile is unique, so we provide multiple treatment options:
- Metal Braces: Traditional, durable, and effective for even the most complex orthodontic cases.
- Clear Braces: Tooth-colored ceramic brackets designed to blend in with your smile.
- Invisalign® Clear Aligners: Virtually invisible aligners that are removable, comfortable, and perfect for busy teens and adults.
- Dr. Goings will recommend the treatment that best matches your needs, lifestyle, and goals.
Yes! Invisalign has advanced significantly over the years. As a Diamond Invisalign Provider, Dr. Goings has the experience to treat mild, moderate, and even complex orthodontic issues using aligners. Invisalign can be just as effective as braces when patients follow instructions and wear their aligners as prescribed—typically 20–22 hours per day.
Treatment timelines vary based on the complexity of your case, your age, and your compliance with the treatment plan. Most patients at Goings Orthodontics complete their treatment in 12–24 months. During your consultation, Dr. Goings will create a personalized timeline so you know exactly what to expect.
Absolutely! More than one in four of our patients are adults. Whether you missed out on braces as a child, need retreatment after losing a retainer, or simply want a more confident smile, we have options designed for adult lifestyles.
Invisalign is especially popular among adults because of its discreet appearance and flexibility, but clear braces and modern metal braces are also available.
Your first visit to Goings Orthodontics is all about getting to know you and your smile goals. We’ll begin with photos and digital X-rays, followed by an exam with Dr. Goings. Together, we’ll review treatment options, estimated timelines, and costs.
You’ll leave your first appointment with a clear understanding of your next steps—and we’ll be here to answer every question along the way.
The cost of treatment depends on the complexity of your case and the type of appliances used. At Goings Orthodontics, we’re committed to making orthodontic care affordable. We offer flexible payment plans, low down payment options, and work with most insurance providers. During your consultation, our team will provide a transparent cost breakdown so there are no surprises.
No referral is necessary. While many of our patients are referred by their general dentist, you can schedule a free consultation with Goings Orthodontics at any time.
Delaying treatment can sometimes make orthodontic issues worse. Crooked or misaligned teeth may cause uneven wear, increase the risk of decay, or contribute to jaw pain and headaches. Starting orthodontic care sooner often means simpler and shorter treatment. That said, it’s never too late—Dr. Goings regularly helps both teens and adults achieve stunning results.
With braces, you’ll need to avoid sticky, crunchy, or hard foods that could damage your brackets and wires. Brushing after every meal and flossing daily are essential. If you choose Invisalign, your aligners should be rinsed daily and brushed gently with a soft toothbrush. Always remove aligners before eating or drinking anything other than water.
Most patients come in every six to eight weeks for progress checks and adjustments. These visits allow Dr. Goings to monitor your progress, make changes if needed, and keep your treatment on track.
Our patients consistently tell us they love the welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere at our offices. With locations in both Fort Collins and Windsor, Dr. Goings and our team make expert orthodontic care convenient and accessible. Add in our advanced technology and Dr. Goings’ Diamond Invisalign Provider status, and you’ll see why families across Northern Colorado trust us with their smiles.
